Mule Psychology 101: The Learning Patterns Of The Mule

 To become efficient in training your mule, it would be beneficial to know the learning patterns of this intelligent hybrid.  How does the mule learn?  How does he mentally adapt?  Once you understand the  mule's learning process, then you will be able to succeed to higher levels of schooling. There will be less frustration and more reward connection, and you will click.  There  are several learning patterns that are recognized in the mule.  They are:  habituation, conditioned response, trial and error learning, latent learning, insight learning and imprinting.  This is the program to the mule's mind.  Learn it and you will do well with training your mule.  

Habituation is,  the mule getting use to a thing or incident.  For example, after a series of loud noises, the mule becomes accustomed to the noise and is not so startled after a while.  Mules that are pastured next to a busy street  or highway, is another example of habituation.  They become accustom to loud, big trucks and are able to continue on with eating.  In order for habituation to work, the mule has to be -----
